YouTube.com - fun or finance?

Burger King asked you to click on ‘subservient chicken’ via http://www.bk.com/en/us/campaigns/subservient-chicken.html and, if you did, you will have done what 42 million people have done before you.

Many of us have clicked on our favourite bands and watched concerts we’ve attended. I was at “The Airborne Toxic Event” gig recently – check them out on the night via a search of   “Airborne Toxic Event Birmingham” on Google.

Somewhere between a professional plug and an amateur fan piece is what we recruiters should maybe do. Why? Because Google have announced they will now be looking more at news & videos than they have done to date. When I key in “Recruitment Matters International training” the 5th on the list is our YouTube videos.  So what stage are you at in utilising videos to increase your profile? Have you a PowerPoint on YouTube or ready to load?

If you want to know more about Search Engine marketing (SEM) let us know... we currently have 36 search terms ranked in the top 10 on Google  - and none of them via pay per click !
