20 x 20 x 20
20 x 20 x 20

Here is an idea for you.

Multiply 20 x 20 x 20 which equals 8000. ‘So what?’ I hear you ask.

If you have a good relationship with 20 people working for client organisations or 20 candidates - whichever way you mix it up – list 20 business contacts who you could phone and have a friendly conversation with. That’s 8000 potential new contacts and clients you have easy access to. Why?

Well, if each of your contacts knows 20 people (and after all, you just listed 20, so it’s not difficult to envisage that), and they in turn know 20, that’s 8000 people you could be discussing business with. Now, of course, a contact isn’t going to introduce you to 20 of their contacts but you get the maths – if you only tapped into 10% of that possibility where each of your 20 contacts only give you say 2 people to speak to (with their permission and blessing) and they, in turn, did the same through time that’s still 20 x 2 x 2 and that’s 80. Come on, think about that for a moment – what could you do with 80 warmed-up and ready to speak to potential clients? It’s party time….
