Warren Kemp: Principal & Trainer

Entered the recruitment arena in the early 90’s, setting up and operating two profitable recruitment businesses, initially purely head-hunting and subsequently delivering results using the full spectrum of recruitment methodology. For the last 8 years has been training, advising & coaching, working with over 600 recruitment clients from start-ups to some of the biggest players around both in mainstream recruitment and head-hunting.
Coach and mentor to numerous individuals requiring 'one on one' assistance (whether on business or personal issues).
Author of the highly acclaimed recruitment book (10% of the UK 's staffing industry have at least one copy in their office) "Recruiting in a Tough Market" , "25 Ways and More to Grow your Business" and his latest "Dont become a frog!" launched in July 2007
Audio Presenter. Warren has written and presents the UK 's best selling audio product on head-hunting, "How to Head-Hunt Anyone You Want To" and the staffing industry’s first exclusive audio newsletter "Have I got a Candidate for You!"
Trainer. Open courses and in-house versions delivered throughout the UK & Europe on a regular basis including his renowned "Successful Head-Hunting" course.
We are not sure that Warren grasped which website this information was going on when he asked us to mention that he is “single, 45, GSOH, non smoker, likes to go out, although also likes to stay in with a DVD, good company and a bottle of wine!”

Matt Wilson: Trainer/Consultant

A highly competent and successful recruitment and resourcing professional with over 10 years in the field.
With a proven track record of delivery at senior level for two major UK recruitment groups, Matt has an extensive background encompassing the full range of recruitment methodologies.
Now in the ideal position to share his knowledge with others, Matt’s experience includes several years working as an in-house resourcing manager which gives him a balanced perspective and appreciation of client requirements to be addressed in the courses and projects that he leads.
Trainer. Open courses and in-house versions delivered across the UK & Europe on a regular basis including our “Two Day Induction,” “Interview Skills,” & “Telephone Skills” courses.
Matt scored a personal hat-trick when he joined Recruitment Matters, as this is the third company where has worked with Warren – and the second with Ken – daft as a brush or loyal – you choose when you meet him!
Once took a career gap year – hopefully he doesn’t think that this is another one…

Emma Thorpe: Events Manager

Joined Recruitment Matters in 2003 following a number of years in marketing and events management including in the recruitment training arena.
‘The girl in the office’, Emma deals with delegates’ requirements, and organises all our open and in-house courses and venues in the UK and Europe.
Emma describes herself as “young, enthusiastic and good looking” – we agree with that!
She also describes herself as “a bit stroppy from time to time but heart’s in the right place. Not good with hangovers or men with attitude.” We agree with that too!

Ken Kemp: Senior Consultant

Ken has been a consultant since the mid 90’s, having previously been in book publishing. One of his roles while operating as European MD for a major US corporation was to build the business from £1m to a highly profitable £17m in 7 years.
Since joining in 2006, his main focus at Recruitment Matters is business development & marketing and he has a key objective to help grow our business exponentially in the coming years through an expanded range of products and services.
Ken is our principal, Warren Kemp’s, “older, wiser brother” (his words – Warren may beg to differ…) and joined on a strict mutual understanding that that he won’t divulge any family secrets!
