‘In-depth advice to help you take charge of your next career move’
A one day training & coaching course brought to you by Recruitment Matters International
About you
Securing the right job to either enhance or reinvigorate your career has never been easy. It is also true to say that there are fewer jobs around in these difficult times. Add to that employers being particularly picky when they make a hire, wanting someone with the right skills for now and with some extra “bells and whistles” for tomorrow - no wonder getting a new job has never been more difficult.
Historically, recruitment agencies have been a great way to source a role that is right for you and to almost guarantee you an interview with a potential employer. They are still a good option for certain roles and can offer great advice, however, the difficult economic climate has had a knock on effect on them, too, with fewer employers wanting to pay a fee to a recruiter for sourcing applicants, particularly now when so many people are out of work (and who may apply directly anyway). But with more and more of your peers job seeking too, it becomes an ever increasingly vicious circle - how to get your CV seen and how to make it (and any application) sell you in the best light in such a cluttered market. We are in a climate where even getting an interview amongst such huge competition should be celebrated.
That’s why you have to take charge of your own job search. Employers welcome direct applications from appropriate candidates who have got something extra to offer. Their HR team is also scouring the job boards for CV’s to pick up the best of those people in the market for a new job. Sadly, no matter how special you are, unless your CV & application stand out from the crowd and your strategy for being seen is spot on, then you could be waiting some considerable time before you even have an interview - or get the right job - or, to be brutally honest, ANY job.
That’s where Recruitment Matters International (RMI) comes in.
About us
RMI has been working with both recruiters and employers training and advising them on recruitment and staffing issues for over 10 years. The principals of RMI have been recruiters themselves for many years before that. Add in another 50 years collectively as hiring authorities for corporate businesses and it’s fair to say our experience working with job seekers and their employers is up there with the best of them.
It’s that experience that means we know exactly what employers are looking for, how they interview, what job boards they use, what roles they would still use a recruiter for, how their recruitment departments work and, crucially – what YOU have to do to be seen, to stand out from the crowd, how to increase your chances of success at interview, how to handle job sourcing in an incredibly competitive market and how to SELL YOURSELF at every stage of the job search (including the interview and offer stage) to win your career job of choice.
The offer
Investing in your own future to give you the skills to secure the right role is an option you must consider right now. RMI runs one day courses for you and like-minded individuals.
